Trading calendar and trading hoursTrading venues Xetra and Börse Frankfurt

Trading on Xetra is from Mondays to Fridays from 9 until 17:30 CET. Please find further information about the opening or closing auctions in the Auction schedule.

At Börse Frankfurt trading hours are in general from 8 until 22 CET. Differing from this are trading times for bonds (8 until 17:30).  

Non-trading days at Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse (FWB®, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange) in 2023 are:

Easter Monday

1 May

Labour Day

25 December

Christmas Day

26 December

Boxing Day

 

Please note that on Xetra in 2023 regular stock exchange trading takes place on Ascension Day (May 18), Whit Monday (May 29), Corpus Christi (June 8) and German Unity Day (October 3).

Trading on Börse Frankfurt ends on public holidays (Germany and State of Hesse) where trading takes place according to the FWB trading calendar at 20:00 CET. Deviating from this, structured products are traded until 22:00 CET on these days. In 2023 the following public holidays are affected: 

  • Ascension Day (18 May 2023)
  • Whit Monday (May 29 2023)
  • Corpus Christi (8 June 2023)
  • German Unity Day (3 October 2023)
