New bond ETF from UBS on Xetra: access to short-term SSA bonds in the eurozone

Since Tuesday, a new exchange-traded fund has been tradable on Xetra and via the trading venue Börse Frankfurt.

The UBS (IE) ETF EUR Ultra-Short Bond ESG UCITS ETF offers access to a portfolio of short-dated and euro-denominated SSA bonds with a maturity of up to six months from issuers in the European Monetary Union. The selected supranational, sub-sovereign and agency (SSA) bonds are tilted towards issuers performing better in terms of their country risk or ESG rating. The portfolio currently consists of 149 bonds, with the respective issuers being equally weighted.
