Deutsche Börse welcomes KraneShares as new ETF issuer on Xetra Focus on broad investments in China with access to individual sectors and themes

Since Tuesday, the first six exchange-traded funds issued by KraneShares have been tradable on Xetra and via the trading venue Börse Frankfurt.

The ETFs provide easy access to the Chinese stock market with a focus on individual industries, themes, and portfolios diversified across different sectors.

With the KraneShares MSCI China A 50 Connect UCITS ETF, investors can invest in the 50 largest Chinese public companies, which are listed as A-shares on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges and accessible via Stock Connect. They offer balanced exposure to the broad Chinese market.

For sustainably conscious investors, the KraneShares MSCI China ESG Leaders UCITS ETF is available. Broadly diversified across different sectors, this portfolio is made up of large and mid-cap companies that aim to build a better ESG profile compared to their peers using the best-in-class approach. A company's share is limited to 10 per cent.

The following three ETFs focus on Chinese companies with a focus on internet services, healthcare, and technological innovation.

The KraneShares CSI China Internet UCITS ETF offers an investment in Chinese companies that generate their revenues from internet services. This includes software developers, online retailers, or search engine providers. The prerequisite for portfolio inclusion is that a company is listed in both the USA and Hong Kong.

The KraneShares MSCI All China Health Care Index UCITS ETF invests in large and medium-sized Chinese companies in the healthcare sector. Each company's share is limited to 10 per cent.

The KraneShares ICBCCS SSE Star Market 50 Index UCITS ETF comprises the 50 largest companies by market capitalisation listed on the SSE Science and Technology Innovation Board. These are leading companies based on technological innovations.

The offering is rounded off by the KraneShares Electric Vehicles & Future Mobility ESG Screened UCITS ETF. It invests in companies around the world that deal with the mobility of the future and act sustainably. These include companies with significant revenues in electric vehicles, energy storage technologies, autonomous navigation technology, lithium and copper mining, and hydrogen fuel cells. Companies involved in ESG controversies will be excluded.
