Eurex Exchange Readiness Newsflash | REMINDER: Withdrawal of the unencrypted ETI LF connectivity options in simulation on 4 August 2023

Dear Eurex Participant,

With this Newsflash we would like to remind you that on 4 August 2023, the support for ETI LF sessions without payload encryption will be withdrawn in the simulation environment.

ETI LF sessions outside the Equinix FR2 co-location facility must use the ETI LF payload encryption connectivity option.

If not already done, existing applications must now be adapted to use the ETI LF payload encryption connectivity option.

Important Note: For participants with ETI LF sessions configured for use in split locations (i.e.) a connection both within the co-location facility and from a remote location, the use of payload encryption is mandatory because no other connectivity option will be possible.

Mandatory implementation of ETI LF payload encryption for production ETI LF sessions which are initiated from outside of the Equinix FR2 co-location facility is on 23 October 2023.
