Eurex Repo F7, Simulation, renewal of broker/server certificates

The following change only affects API/POA applications.

The usage of the F7 Trader GUI is not affected by this change.

On Wednesday, May 13, 2020 Eurex Repo will install new broker/server certificates in the F7 Simulation environment, as the current Eurex Repo F7 API broker/server certificates for Simulation will expire end of May 2020.

These new broker/server certificates for Eurex Repo F7 API will be installed in Simulation after the end of business on the evening of Wednesday, May 13th, 2020.

F7 API client applications connecting to F7 Simulation will need to add these new broker/server certificates to their truststores to be able to connect to Simulation after May 13th, 2020.

The new broker/server certificates can be downloaded and added alongside existing certificates in existing truststores at any convenient point in time prior to May 14th, 2020.

Please download the new broker/server certificates for simulation for the Eurex Repo Member Section by following this path: > Repo Resources > System Documentation > Network Access >

“Simulation F7 API broker/server certificates for Internet and leased line to import into your truststore, as of May 14, 2020”

These new certificates, once extracted from the ZIP file, can be added to your existing truststore (using a new alias) for example by using commands like the ones outlined below:

keytool –import –file simu-f7-api_eurexrepo_com_cert.crt –keystore <PATH TO YOUR TRUSTSTORE> -alias f7apiserver2020simu

keytool –import –file simu-f7-api_vpn_eurexrepo_com_cert.crt –keystore <PATH TO YOUR TRUSTSTORE> -alias f7apivpnserver2020simu

See chapter 7.1.3 of the document “Eurex Repo F7 Connectivity Guide” (can be downloaded from the same location) for general details on handling broker/server certificates in F7 API.

Please note: Broker/server certificates for F7 Production will be replaced later this year in August 2020 and Advanced Simulation in November.
